Ben Simmons has no problem trolling himself on social media, which he proved true once again in a recent comment on Instagram.
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James posted a photo of the game log for Friday which had him listed as a rookie. He commented under it stating that he was “going for ‘Rookie of the Year,’” which led to the Philadelphia 76ers star chiming in perfectly.
As CBC Athletes showed, Simmons let LeBron know the award was his.
This, of course, stems from the huge debate last season about whether or not Simmons was a rookie after he missed his entire first year due to injury. As we know, the Sixers guard went on to win the 2018 NBA Rookie of the Year award after a wild late-season feud with Donovan Mitchell over it took center stage.
