The Philadelphia 76ers look to remain unbeaten at home while getting a game above a .500 record. The Philadelphia 76ers are averaging 107 points on 43.3 percent shooting and allowing 106.5 points on 43.4 percent shooting. Joel Embiid is averaging 26.5 points and 11 rebounds while Ben Simmons is averaging 16 points and 9.5 assists. Robert Covington is the third double-digit scorer and JJ Redick is grabbing 2.5 rebounds. The Philadelphia 76ers are shooting 27.4 percent from beyond the arc and 75.9 percent from the free throw line. The Philadelphia 76ers are allowing 31.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 51 rebounds per game. The Philadelphia 76ers haven’t lost a regular season home game since March 13.
The Magic are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 0 days rest, 5-13 ATS in their last 18 Saturday games and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. The 76ers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games, 21-7 ATS in their last 28 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Magic are 13-5 ATS in the last 18 meetings in Philadelphia, 0-5 ATS in the last 5 meetings and the road team is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings.
The Orlando Magic are coming off a blowout loss last night against the Charlotte Hornets, and the Philadelphia 76ers are obviously the best team they will have played up to this point. However, the 76ers have been sleepwalking two games through the season and haven’t been sharp defensively yet. The Magic have also provided some value as big underdogs dating back to last season, as they’re 12-6-1 ATS in their last 19 games when an underdog of at least eight points. I’m not trying to lay this big of chalk this early in the season, especially with how lackluster the 76ers have been so far. Give me the points.
